Whip Stitch

Let's get stitching!
The whip stitch is an easy stitch that allows you to whip two pieces of fabric together.
Step one:
Thread your needle and tie a knot at the end of the long tail of the thread.
Step Two:
Line up the two pieces of felt that you will be sewing together and pin in place. Poke your needle in between the two pieces of felt on the edge where you will start sewing. Push your needle through the back piece of felt from the inside of the two pieces. Pull your needle and thread all the way out of the back piece of felt.
Now your thread is coming out of the bottom piece of felt and the knot in your thread is hidden in between the two pieces of felt.

Step Three:
Bring the thread and needle up and over the felt, to the front piece of felt.
Poke your needle through the front piece of felt, lined up right where you first poked your needle. Push the needle through both pieces of felt.
This will make a tiny loop over the seam of your two pieces of felt.

Step Four:
Poke your needle and thread through the back piece of felt, toward the front piece of felt, so that it comes out of the front piece of felt where you want your next stitch to start.
Now loop the needle and thread over the two pieces of felt, poking it through the back piece again and repeating the process to make many little loops over the seam of the two pieces of felt.
